The Center for Russian and East European Studies (REES), a part of the Institute for Comparative & International Studies (ICIS), seeks to broaden knowledge about the former USSR and Eastern Europe through multi- and inter-disciplinary programming for the Emory academic community, teachers and faculty at other educational institutions, and the general public. REES is physically located in the Department of Russian and East Asian Languages and Cultures building.
